There’s no denying it… we can’t put it off any longer… it’s coat season!!!
The new coat on the block and the one that has caught my eye this season is the Teddy Bear Coat… so-called because of the snuggly, textured material traditionally in teddy bear colours of beige, rust and shades of brown. Although, this season expect to see on-trend pastel shades as well as bolder colours.
In the week, Holly Willoughby posted a photo on Instagram – looking as gorgeous as ever – in a pink teddy bear coat from Very, and the next day it was sold out!!!
I have tried a couple of teddy bear coats on the shops and I have to say they are incredibly warm and cosy, like wearing a big hug! What more could we want when the winds chills and the evenings are dark and damp?
I do love the pink, but I also like it in classic beige/rust colours as I think they will have more use and longevity..? I am still of the mindset that a coat is an investment piece and so I am reluctant to splash the cash on something that might not be in-fashion next year… however most teddy bear coats seem to be at the reasonable price point of around £80-90 (on the High St). Plus it’s always worth considering the price per wear!!!
